While the main part of the house remained largely unaltered, modifications were made to accommodate a new master bedroom with a modern bathroom and walk-in robe, a new double garage, and an outdoor entertainment area.

The small additions were thoughtfully incorporated into the project to create a new, modern home. The aim was to retain the charm of the original home while rethinking the front living area and creating more robust, light-filled living areas. A new, bigger, more welcoming entrance has been created that not only contributes to the contemporary feel of the house but also serves as a pivotal point in the layout, enhancing the overall flow and connectivity throughout the house. The thoughtful design ensures a seamless transition between different living spaces and promotes a sense of spaciousness and harmony within the residence. Additionally, these additions, along with the new, large windows at the front of the house, enhance the flow of natural light into the house, providing an inviting atmosphere for the family to relax and enjoy.

The facade design takes inspiration from the original dwelling by keeping the pitched roof shape and continuing it with the new addition. A modern look has been achieved by seamlessly integrating a new facade with soft colours and  Timber battens that adorn the facade, adding a warm and inviting touch and establishing a harmonious connection with the surrounding landscape.

The key objective of the design was to blend the elements of new and old, ultimately achieving a modern and refreshed living environment that would better serve the needs of the family. By seamlessly incorporating contemporary design concepts into the existing structure, we were able to breathe new life into the space. This transformation not only imparted a sleek and modern aesthetic but also significantly improved the overall functionality and comfort of the home. The result is a living space that beautifully blends tradition with modernity, providing the family an enhanced quality of life.
