This home in Seaford has gone through a complete renovation, including internal reconfiguration, a small ground floor extension and a second floor addition.

The old house’s original outline has been preserved, but its interior has undergone a complete aesthetic renovation. The original master bedroom on the ground floor has been expanded to include a contemporary bathroom and ample storage space. Next to the master bedroom, a cozy reading nook with a small courtyard has been added. The entire house has been elevated to incorporate new high ceilings, and an extension that comprises an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area has been added at the back of the house. This area serves as the heart of the home, providing a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors. Stepping through the big glass doors of the living area, it’s a beautiful alfresco and outdoor seating area that extends into a stunning pool and beautifully landscaped garden.

By adding three new bedrooms and an additional lounge area to the second floor, we created more room and comfort for a growing family and provided improvement to the overall functionality and liveability of the house.

The design of the house features a modern touch with a skillion roof that stands proudly above the structure. This architectural element brings a contemporary feel to the traditional charm of the old house. The old part of the house has been given a newly rendered finish with a contemporary colour scheme that creates a pleasing contrast and highlights the house's evolution over time. The new addition features modern materials with clean lines and textures, complementing the rendered brick and adding depth and character to the structure. The design also includes timber panels that have been thoughtfully integrated to infuse warmth into the modern aesthetic.

The outcome of this design has resulted in a beautiful modern home that perfectly accommodates the ever-changing needs of a growing family.
